Ferrum è la prima collezione di MBF (Fraintesa is my best friend), un progetto parallelo sviluppato da fraintesa aka Francesca Tosin, designer italiana che lavora nel prodotto e nella comunicazione visiva ma con un debole nel sporcarsi le mani e lavorare i materiali. L'interesse verso l'artigianato prende vita con 'Ferrum', prima collezione di gioielli fatti a mano che non parla sono del materiale ferroso da cui prende il nome, ma parla dei colori che ne derivano e dalle sfumature che si creano ossidando il ferro con vari elementi. Ferrum è una collezione di collane realizzate in legno, ferro e tessuto che, attraverso la loro colorazione, si inseriscono in uno scenario fatto di polveri che derivano dalle diverse sfumature della ruggine.
Ferrum is the first collection of MBF (Fraintesa is my best friend), a side project designed and developed by fraintesa. Fraintesa is Francesca Tosin, italian product and visual communication designer with a weakness in getting her hands dirty working different materials. The interest in craftsmanship comes to life with 'Ferrum', her first collection of handmade jewelry. Ferrum refers not only to the iron from which it takes its name, the collection Ferrum is about the rusty colors and the tones created by iron oxididation with various elements. Ferrum is a collection of six necklaces composed by wood, iron and fabric. Their colors are part of a landscape made of dusts arising from the different shades of rust.
